Have you experienced life with a narcissist or psychopath? We invite you to share your story on I Lived With A Monster and join our supportive community. Your voice is important, and your journey can help others feel less isolated. A video interview is needed, but identities will be concealed.
If you're interested in participating, please use the link to the initial interview questions here. You are not required to provide a comprehensive account at this stage; a brief overview of your experience will suffice. You will have the opportunity to elaborate further during the interview, should we proceed.

How are interviews conducted?
Interviews will be conducted over Zoom.
How do you select who will be interviewed?
You will be sent interview questions or can view them here. You should send back brief responses. If selected to interview for the series, you are encouraged to expand on your answers then.
How long will the interview be?
Interviews are around 45 minutes.
What kind of interviews are you looking for?
People of all races, ethnicities and everything else who have lived with a narcissist or psychopath should reach out. This can be any kind of relationship where there was cohabitation: family, friend, spouse, partner. This series focuses on the reality of everyday life with antisocial personalities and how people are moving forward after the abuse & confusion of the relationship. In keeping with this, we are looking more for focus on your story. How you felt, what you thought, how you reacted.
Do I have to appear on video?
Video interviews are preferred for the format. However, you identity will be hidden. We can do this in different ways: vocal masking, blurring or pixelating, setting up your device so that your face is not visible while you’re talking, and other things.
What should I know about setting up for the interview?
Please be sure that the lighting is adequate, your internet connection is good, that the environment is quiet & free from interruptions. Please do not wear or display anything that could cause copyright issues with YouTube, and make sure your background is not distracting. A separate mic is a plus! Interviews with audio, visual or connection issues cannot be used.
How will I be contacted for the interview?
You will receive a link to a Zoom room where the interview will be conducted and recorded. The interview will be conducted by The Little Shaman.
